Aurora to Seek Grant for Garfield Park Upgrade: ‘It’s Such an Important Park’

Aurora officials are looking at seeking a state grant to upgrade Garfield Park on the city’s East Side.

The park in the Pigeon Hill neighborhood is considered one of the city-owned legacy parks, along with Phillips, Blackhawk and Lincoln parks.
